About the role As a Business Development Analyst - CIS, you will make an impact by developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, identifying their requirements, and delivering appropriate solutions that drive digital transformation through comprehensive core modernization. You will be a valued member of the CIS Practice team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior leadership. In this role, you will Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their business needs and deliver customized solutions. Partner with cross-functional teams to formulate and execute strategic plans for market entry and expansion. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Represent Cognizant at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate business leads. Track and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership while ensuring adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards. Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bridgewater, NJ. The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting. This may change based on the project you're engaged in, as well as business and client requirements. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. What you need to have to be considered 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related corporate role. Solid understanding of Cloud, Data, Infrastructure, and Security technologies. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to work independently and collaboratively. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing, with a willingness to travel as needed to support business objectives. These will help you stand out Cloud-related certifications. Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Marketing. Salary and Other Compensation Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2026 The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 - $75,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
